The insurance industry takes is seriously though.

TAL, which is owned by the Japanese insurance giant Dai-ichi Life and has almost 4 million Australian customers, has reportedly added an exclusion clause for the coronavirus in new insurance policies. (more…)

It is cold here in Melbourne – 15c – overcast, raining intermittently today and yesterday, the first “rain” I have seen in months, but this drizzle will have no effect on the catastrophic bushfires that have been burning since September and exploded on NYE, leaving me marooned, the Princes Highway north of Bairnsdale cut off in numerous places.
